May 23rd 2025, marks the beginning of a new chapter in the story of The House of Care Ministries. After a year of serving on local recovery committees and councils we have become a part of the Southern Illinois Recovery Network and spent the past few months helping plan their first conference at John A Logan College in Carterville Illinois. More than helping plan an event today we set up our first vendor table at our first conference. Since waking up inspired on December 6th 2023, it has been a long road to setting up our first table at our first event. May has been a super busy month from having our first board meeting and getting incorporated with the state and applying for our tax exempt status.
